Addictions and Mental Health Services Hastings Prince Edward is a public addiction treatment centre located in Belleville, Ontario. AMHS focuses on treating men experiencing problems with problem gambling and various substance addictions. Their facility is capable of housing 16 patients in 8 semi-private rooms. Their treatment program is 21-days long, where clients particpate in individual counselling and group discussions. Clients also have the option to choose between a variety of recreational activities some of which include: bowling, billiards, floor hockey, and basketball. AMHS is unique from other facilities because it allows clients to use personal devices (phones, tablets) during personal time.
